We got this tent for our upcoming camping trip in July, haven't camped since our college years so we were looking for something easy to set up and it has to be our daughter's favorite color, purple. Found what we were looking for and it is just as described. My husband and I set it up within 10 minutes and it is bigger than we expected, I would say it comfortably fits the three of us. It has entry on both sides and an extra netting inside for storage which we think it's pretty thoughtful.

Perfect for backpacking. It’s very light weight and the framing is aluminum which is stronger than fiberglass. The rent material is waterproof so it’s better than the cheap water resistant ones. Overall very good but. Definitely will recommend.

We were able to compare the Mongar 2 side-by-side to several other tents of same basic design, price range, weight and features. The Mongar 2 blew them away and is without a doubt the best bang for the buck! It favorably competes with tents twice or more the price. Excellent fit and finish. Weight and dimensions are as advertised...which seems to be the exception rather than the rule as tents go. Highly recommended!

I bought this for my son. He used it for one backpack camping trip and one regular camping. It sustains in the rainy night very well. A well designed and quality tent.

One of my best purchases...ever! Setting this tent up is ridiculously easy I think all said and done, it took me 5mins to set everything up. The materials used on this tent are amazing.Every hook, clasp, buckle, and strap is well designed and well made! I love the fact that reflective material was used on these items as it makes setting up at night very easy. Inside, the tent is spacious! Large enough to fit 2 adults comfortably and still have room to spare! If your considering this tent...go ahead and buy it...you'll be happy you did!

I took this tent on a cycling tour across the US. The design has good ventilation and plenty of space for the weight. It stood up to high winds and even heavy wet snow well. The draw back to this design is that wet snow can collect on top. I did have to bang the snow off during the night to keep it from crushing the tent, the poles seemed to handle the weight but I didn't want to risk it. Sat through at least one thunderstorm dry and comfy and reading the day away. The design has good ventilation and plenty of space for the weight. The Silnylon is light but durable and VERY waterproof. Be aware that the silnylon floor will be slippery for any nylon inflatable mats, which can be an issue if you pitch on a slight incline. i solved this with some grip liner, though there are some inflatable mats with built in grip texture for this reason. This is luxurious space for one person, and cozy for two, but still livable with having two separate entrances and vestibules. There is plenty of headroom to sit up and change clothes. The only fault I had was a stitch for one of the hooks on the inner net came loose after the first couple of pitches, but it was an easy fix with a needle and thread. I'd recommend you pitch a few times before leaving on a trip to make sure there aren't any issues you can fix at home. All in all this is an exceptional deal for a lightweight tent. It's not the lightest out there, but you'd have to spend double or more to get all these features (silnylon, double entrance, footprint, gear loft) for just a few grams of weight savings.

This is an absolutely amazing tent! High quality of all the components. Lots of elements with reflector. Little weight. Big enough for 2 adults. Highly recommend.

Nice tent. Two vestibules are really convenient. The inner layer consists of a grid, the outer - awning. Going easily, generally like it. I didn’t like the green pegs, they easily merge with the grass, than it’s easy to lose them ... the red ones would be the way of it
